Easycare in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Refused to cover Hybrid Batteries
My 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid uses the battery to power assist the drive train. Replacing the battery costs $3400 dollars. Easycare claims to cover drive train parts but then EXCLUDES the 3000 dollar battery cost. I got the run around from them and eventually was sent to the American Arbitration Association to see if they could help me. I was sold the warrenty by the Front Range Honda dealer Specifically because the new technology had no track record. I consider myself fortunate that the Honda Dealer decided to cover 3100 dollars of the bill out of a sense of doing the right thing. (Freedom Honda)
